Ramblings

The rest of spring break in Florida was awesome! Jen is great :o) We went to a Tridentine mass on Sunday before I had to leave, and it was a great experience. VERY TRADITIONAL. I had some problems again with my flight but made it back just fine.

Last week I had two midterms: a blue book in Dante and a physics exam. Both of them could've gone either way. I guess we'll see.

Our tournament this weekend was at Kent State so we left Friday and I unfortunately had to miss everyone that was coming into town for Godspell. :o( boo. But only 9 of us went to the tournament: Me, Kristin, Ang, Gina, Erica, Ashley, Kristy, Jacki, and Colene. We had a blast and won the tournament! yay! We got back last night at around 11pm and I was so exhausted I crashed! Boo for daylight savings time.

Things with Hesed are coming along slowly but surely. I'm really excited-only 19 more days!

Vegas in 11 days!

This week we are grilling at Mongolian for volleyball on Tuesday. I'm going to see Tamango Tap with Jack and possibly Holly on Wednesday, and on Thursday Jack and I finally get to go see Wynton Marsalis and LCJO! Friday is Girls' night at Theresa's! What an exciting week.

Florida :o)

I now know why it's not the best idea to fly at night. My flight was scheduled to leave Detroit at 9:20pm yesterday and because of some maintenance and de-icing we didn't end up leaving until 10:20pm. Then it was really foggy in Sarasota-too foggy to land-so we ended up landing in Tampa at 12:30am. They didn't let us off the plane for another half-hour and then I had to call Jen so she could come get me. Jen got to the airport at 2am and we got to Bradenton at 3am. I felt so bad for Jen because she had class at 8 this morning!

When Jen got back from class we decided to go grab some lunch and headed to the beach! It was absolutely gorgeous outside today! 82 degrees and sunny- I sure could get used to this winter weather :o)


Also, Jen's roomate's cat Milo is the cutest kitty ever!


I'm really excited for tomorrow because I get to go to class with Jen! It's her PBL (problem based learning) class which is the thing D.O.s do different than M.D.s. It'll be a great way for me to figure out which route I really want to go for med school. After class Jen is going to give me a tour and introduce me to some of her professors. Then later they are having a guest speaker who will be talking about AIDS and infectious diseases, and afterwards they are giving us dessert! Sounds like tomorrow will be another great day. :o)

Last night I went to the Jug to celebrate Matty, Don, and Lisa's birthdays! I think it's safe to say that everyone had a pretty good time :o)

I didn't think this would affect me, but it's really eating at me and I'm kind of disappointed. :o(

New beginning

It's spring break now, and I've decided I need a new start. My life is getting crazy and I need to re-evaluate many things. Which means...goodbye old livejournal from freshman year and everything you remind me of, and hello blogger and things to come! :o)
